Job Description:

Location: Wrexham UK
Function: Industrial Operations MS&T
Contract: 24-month fixed term contract

As part of our continued growth at the Wrexham site we are looking for a Process Scientist II to join our highperforming Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a scientifically minded professional to contribute to process optimisation new product introduction and continuous improvement activities across both Drug Substance and Drug Product operations.

About the Role

In this role you will support the optimisation of manufacturing processes contribute to technology transfers and provide scientific input to resolve technical challenges. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams across the site helping to ensure that products are manufactured reliably safely and in compliance with regulatory standards.

This position plays a key role in the lifecycle management of commercial products while also actively shaping the future of our sterile manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver process optimisation and continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing performance.
  • Design execute and document laboratorybased studies to support site initiatives.
  • Analyse data interpret results and produce highquality technical reports.
  • Support technology transfer activities from development into commercial manufacturing.
  • Participate in investigations and problemsolving for manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure all experimental work is accurately recorded in line with GxP and ALCOA principles.
  • Collaborate with MS&T QA Operations and wider site functions to deliver shared objectives.
  • Contribute to SOPs technical documentation training materials protocols and reports.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and new approaches relevant to process development and sterile operations.

About You

Essential skills and experience

  • Degree in a Scientific Pharmaceutical or Engineering discipline.
  • Good understanding of laboratory practices and handson execution of studies.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. JMP Minitab).
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of sterile medicinal product manufacturing.
  • Awareness of technology transfer risk assessments and product impact assessments.

Desired skills and experience

  • Previous experience in an industrial or MS&Trelated role.
  • Broader awareness of formulation techniques FMEA methodologies and datadriven investigations.
