Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in RPG technologies to support development production support and system enhancements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in IBM i (AS400) environments and be capable of handling end-to-end development and support activities.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Administer and maintain AS400 / IBM iSeries systems to ensure high availability performance and security.
Manage system backups and recovery using BRMS (Backup Recovery and Media Services).
Perform PTF (Program Temporary Fix) installation validation and maintenance activities.
Plan and execute OS upgrades and firmware upgrades for IBM i systems.
Monitor system health performance tuning and capacity planning.
Configure and maintain MIMIX replication for high availability and disaster recovery.
Manage and support HMC (Hardware Management Console) operations and system configurations.
Troubleshoot system hardware and application issues on IBM i environments.
Support cloud migration initiatives involving AS400 workloads (lift & shift or modernization).
Coordinate with infrastructure application and DR teams during upgrades patching and migrations.
Ensure compliance with operational procedures backup policies and security standards.
Provide documentation and operational support for system changes and maintenance activities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-Have Skills
Strong experience in AS400 / IBM iSeries system administration.
Hands-on experience with BRMS backup and recovery management.
Experience in PTF installation patch management and system maintenance.
Proven experience in IBM i OS upgrades and firmware upgrades.
Hands-on experience with MIMIX replication and disaster recovery setup.
Experience working with HMC (Hardware Management Console).
Exposure to cloud migration projects involving IBM i workloads.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills for IBM i systems.
Good understanding of system monitoring backup strategies and high availability architecture.
Ability to support production environments and critical infrastructure systems.
