Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for a skilled Java Engineer with AWS cloud to support the design implementation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in migrating on-premise Java APIs to AWS-based containerized environments and building cloud-native APIs using Python.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Support migration of on-premise Java APIs to AWS container-based architecture
Develop and maintain cloud-native APIs using Python
Execute build test and deployment activities
Work with AWS services and containerization technologies
Provide production and post-production support
Ensure system stability security and performance optimization
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams
Support SDLC processes from requirements to deployment
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-Have Skills:
AWS Cloud Expertise: Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2 Lambda S3 RDS IAM VPC etc.).
Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with Terraform.
Scripting: Proficiency in Python for automation.
CI/CD: Experience with GitLab pipelines and DevOps practices.
Cloud Architecture: Understanding of high availability scalability and cost optimization principles.
Understand importance of shifting left with testing: Test Pyramid
Version Control: Git-based workflows.
