Job Summary
Are you an experienced Emergency Department RN ready to take the next step in leadership Regions Hospital is seeking a motivated Nurse Supervisor & Charge Nurse Emergency Department to support our dynamic ED team and help drive exceptional patient care in a fast-paced high-acuity environment.
The RN Supervisor/Charge Nurse Emergency Department facilitates the effective operation of the Emergency Department by providing clinical leadership supporting staff and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role promotes collaboration through effective communication maintains a strong working knowledge of departmental and hospital policies and fosters positive working relationships with nursing staff medical staff and ancillary departments. The RN Supervisor/Charge Nurse utilizes evidence-based nursing practices and advanced problem-solving skills to support clinical and operational excellence.

Work Schedule: Evenings/Nights. This is a 0.9 FTE position who will work 0.5 FTE in the Supervisor role and 0.4 FTE in the Charge RN role.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Four years of experience as a Emergency Registered Nurse
- Completion of accredited Associate degree in Nursing. And a bachelors degree in Nursing Education Business Health Sciences Behavioral Science Life Science or approved field OR currently enrolled in a healthcare related Baccalaureate degree program with an established date of completion degree in Nursing.
Certification:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota
- BLS
- ACLS
- TNCC
- ENPC/PALS
- Professional Emergency Nursing Certification (CEN or CPEN) within 1 year of hire.
