Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol Driver in Phoenix AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. You will support access points communicate clearly with staff and visitors and document activity with professionalism. This is an armed post requiring a valid armed guard card or license and a driving post requiring a valid drivers license backed by a caring reliable and integrity-driven team.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Respond to alarms suspicious activity disturbances and/or critical incidents in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and public emergency services as needed.
- Control access at doors gates and restricted areas; monitor visitor and vendor entry verify identification and maintain visitor logs per site policy.
- Document patrols incidents and security-related activities in written reports and communicate relevant information to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
