Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Forklift Assembler to join our team in Long Beach MS. This position is responsible for assembling forklift components and equipment using hand tools power tools and assembly equipment in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge strong attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and work orders. This role requires someone who can work efficiently on an assembly line while maintaining high-quality standards. Candidates must be comfortable using tools and troubleshooting issues that arise during the assembly process. Employees must have their own basic hand tools.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret work orders blueprints and assembly instructions.
Assemble forklift parts and components to create finished equipment.
Use hand tools power tools and assembly equipment to fabricate and assemble products.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the assembly process.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Work with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
Must-Have Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in manufacturing or assembly environments.
Ability to use hand tools power tools and shop equipment safely.
Must have your own basic hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to read and follow assembly instructions or blueprints.
Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Mechanical or equipment assembly experience.
Experience working with forklifts heavy equipment or machinery assembly.
Experience working on production or assembly lines.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with manufacturing quality control processes.
