The project will utilize advanced PK/PD modeling and simulation (M&S) working with both internal and external data sets to support improved translation from preclinical to clinical applications.

Impact:
This project will harness advanced PK/PD M&S to understand how obesity and its associated comorbidities could affect ADME and drug efficacy.

Key Objectives:

  • Apply PK/PD M&S to analyze and interpret preclinical and clinical data
  • Study the influence of obesity on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamic parameters of various drug modalities
  • Deepen understanding of how obesity and related comorbidities modulate ADME processes and drug efficacy
  • Support translation of research findings into potential clinical impact.
