What Makes This Role Interesting:

In this role you will be the cornerstone of our Eastern European operations taking full ownership of the payroll lifecycle for Poland and ensuring our most valuable assetour peopleare paid accurately and on time. You will act as a key advisor and problem-solver bridging the gap between global systems like Workday and local statutory requirements to shape efficient compliant payroll solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrate accurate and timely monthly payroll cycles for Eastern European legal entities in partnership with global vendors.
  • Spearhead data integrity initiatives by managing complex integrations between Workday HRIS and payroll platforms.
  • Serve as a primary consultant for employees resolving payroll inquiries and explaining complex tax or social security information.
  • Collaborate with global finance teams to perform high-impact balance sheet reconciliations and manual input audits for commissions and equity.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing and implementing best practices for payroll processes across your region.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • You possess deep expertise in Polish labor law tax frameworks and social security (ZUS) requirements.
  • You have proven experience working with payroll vendor platforms ideally Workday and CloudPay or similar global systems.
  • You are highly proficient in English and Polish with the ability to communicate complex data clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • You demonstrate advanced Excel reporting skills and experience maintaining data integrity within a Workday ecosystem.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience manipulating large datasets through analytics platforms like PowerBI or DOMO.
  • Foundational knowledge of corporate finance principles including accruals journals and prepayments.
  • A change-management mindset with experience supporting payroll processes on a global scale.

Location: Kraków Poland (On-site 4 days a week in office 1 day flexible)
