What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients residents tenants and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures property policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification resident or tenant authorization visitor purpose and vehicle information while maintaining required logs and/or reports.
- Monitor cameras intercoms gate systems and other security-related equipment reporting irregularities maintenance needs and policy concerns to site contacts.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner assisting with notifications documentation and coordination with management and/or public services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations documenting observations per post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security experience is required or a college degree is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of armed security experience is required.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
