Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Mobile Patrol in Mingo Junction OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. You will complete routine rounds observe for unusual activity support access control communicate clearly with staff and visitors and document security-related events. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees contractors and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and/or petrochemical location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas tank farms loading and unloading points and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access control points verify identification and/or credentials manage visitor and contractor entry and document deliveries vehicle traffic and/or restricted-area access in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including alarms disturbances medical incidents and/or hazardous material related notifications and coordinate with site leadership and public emergency responders as directed.
- Complete thorough reports on shift activities patrol findings incidents and/or use-of-force related observations and maintain required training certifications and equipment checks for armed post readiness.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Possess a law enforcement officer license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
