A well-established public accounting firm in Nashville is seeking an Audit Manager or Audit Director with strong experience serving financial institution clients. Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements for financial institutions including banks and credit unions
Oversee planning execution and completion of audit engagements
Serve as the primary client relationship manager
Review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Mentor and develop audit staff and seniors
Assist with practice development and business growth initiatives
Qualifications
Strong experience auditing financial institutions (banks credit unions or similar)
7 years of public accounting audit experience
Experience managing engagements and leading teams
CPA/EA required
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial institution regulations
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Ideal Background
Candidates may currently hold titles such as:
