About the Role
As a Science Teacher you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 depending on your subject specialism and experience. You will help pupils develop strong scientific knowledge practical skills and critical thinking abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Teaching Biology Chemistry or Physics depending on your specialism

• Delivering practical experiments and investigations in a safe and engaging way

• Monitoring pupil progress through assessment and effective feedback

• Differentiating lessons to support pupils of varying abilities

• Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment

• Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental collaboration

• Supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs or science competitions

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Have strong subject knowledge in Science

• Demonstrate the ability to deliver engaging and structured lessons

• Have excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Be committed to supporting pupils academic progress and curiosity in science

• Be enthusiastic about working collaboratively within a successful department
