  2. Pedagogical Leadership: Contributing to the facultys collaborative culture sharing best practices in retrieval practice and dual coding to optimize student long-term memory.

  3. Advanced Practical Work: Leading sophisticated laboratory investigations that go beyond the standard curriculum encouraging students to master complex experimental techniques and data modelling.

  4. Data Excellence: Utilizing granular assessment data to provide pinpoint feedback ensuring that every student makes exceptional progress regardless of their starting point.

  5. STEM Aspirations: Coordinating high-profile enrichment programs such as the CREST Awards or university masterclasses to prepare students for elite higher education pathways.


The Successful Candidate We are looking for a practitioner who demonstrates a relentless drive for excellence and a passion for subject mastery. Requirements include:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong degree in a core Science discipline (Biology Chemistry or Physics).

  • Proven Track Record: Evidence of consistently delivering high-quality learning outcomes and a deep understanding of the secondary assessment frameworks.
