About the Role

Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
Supporting pupils to develop strong numeracy reasoning and problem-solving skills
Using assessment effectively to monitor progress and guide teaching strategies
Differentiating lessons to support pupils of varying abilities and learning needs
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour engagement and academic achievement
Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
Supporting intervention programmes to help pupils improve attainment
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Demonstrate the ability to deliver clear and engaging lessons
Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
Be committed to supporting pupils academic progress and confidence in Maths
Work effectively as part of a collaborative teaching team
