About the Role
As a Maths Teacher you will deliver engaging and structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Supporting pupils to develop strong numeracy reasoning and problem-solving skills

• Using assessment effectively to monitor progress and guide teaching strategies

• Differentiating lessons to support pupils of varying abilities and learning needs

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour engagement and academic achievement

• Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development

• Supporting intervention programmes to help pupils improve attainment

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Have strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

• Demonstrate the ability to deliver clear and engaging lessons

• Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Be committed to supporting pupils academic progress and confidence in Maths

• Work effectively as part of a collaborative teaching team
