About the position

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to help maintain the companys technology environment and ensure that employees have the appropriate infrastructure to work safely and efficiently.

This professional will be responsible for providing technical support to users managing equipment and maintaining IT security and operational best practices.

Your main responsibilites

• Provide technical support to operational users resolving hardware and software issues;
• Configure and maintain Mac computers (macOS) including user profiles and system policies;
• Perform system formatting reinstallation and operating system updates;
• Configure and manage remote access and VPN solutions;
• Prepare and configure new equipment for employees (machine onboarding);
• Research evaluate and purchase IT equipment and peripherals;
• Manage equipment inventory including receiving tracking and shipping logistics;
• Implement and maintain security best practices including blocking unsafe websites;
• Manage operating system and application updates across all devices;
• Configure and manage macOS profiles using MDM tools (e.g. Mosyle);
• Document IT processes incidents and solutions.

Minimum knowledge skills & abilities required

Must-have

• Solid experience providing support in macOS environments (98% of the devices are Macs);
• Advanced knowledge of macOS configuration and troubleshooting;
• Experience with Mac MDM tools preferably Mosyle;
• Knowledge of networking VPN and remote access configuration;
• Experience managing IT equipment inventory and logistics;
• Analytical thinking for diagnosing and resolving technical issues;
• Fluent English for internal communication;
• Strong communication skills with non-technical users;
• Ability to solve problems quickly;
• Proactive mindset to improve IT processes.

Nice to have

• Experience working in fast-growing corporate environments;
• Knowledge of information security and endpoint protection best practices;
• Familiarity with IT asset monitoring and management tools;
• Currently studying programming.
