Job Description
As a Security Officer - Security Screener in Greensboro NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a healthcare location you will greet patients visitors and staff while helping manage entry points and support a welcoming environment. You will watch for unusual activity conduct screening and access checks and communicate concerns to the care team and site leadership. This role blends customer service with security-related awareness backed by an agile reliable innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Screen and direct visitors at designated entry points by verifying access requirements observing for prohibited items and following site procedures for visitor management.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including escalating concerns to clinical staff and/or site leadership as needed.
- Monitor entry and exit activity maintain required logs and documentation and report irregular activity according to post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas around entrances waiting areas and the perimeter as directed by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
