DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Located in the Ninth & Jefferson building across from Harborview Medical Center the Foot & Ankle Center at Harborview provides consultation and surgical treatment for complex foot and ankle reconstruction including arthritis deformities genetic anomalies sports injuries and traumatic injury. We also offer podiatry services and non-surgical treatments. We partner with our patients to develop an individualized treatment plan that will provide the best outcome for foot and ankle mobility and function.
The Physical and Hand Therapy Clinic at Harborview Medical Center offers top-notch care to patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries or issues. We have skilled and experienced therapists who will evaluate your condition and develop a treatment plan to work towards your goals.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordination of care and the education of patients during the pre-surgical and post-surgical period
Interacts professionally with patient/family and involves patient/family in the formation of the plan of care
Lead in patient assessment and the flow of the clinics
Triage patients for post surgical complications or wound infections
Communicates appropriately and clearly to charge nurse manager co-workers physicians and all members of the health care interdisciplinary team
REQUIREMENTS:
Active valid Washington State or Multi-state RN license required by start date
At least 2 years of outpatient or inpatient RN work experience
