HR Administrator (6-Month Contract)

Etax Accountants is seeking a motivated Human Resources Administrator to join our friendly and experienced HR team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of HR functions while contributing to key projects and seasonal recruitment.
About the Role
As an HR Administrator you will play an important role in supporting the HR team with day-to-day operations recruitment and HR initiatives across the business.
Position Details
- 6-month contract (with potential to lead to ongoing employment)
- Full-time Monday to Friday
- Hybrid role flexible mix of office and work from home days
- Immediate start
Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Be a positive first point of contact for HR enquiries
- Conduct reference and background checks
- Assist with end-to-end Recruitment processes for seasonal roles
- Maintain accurate personnel records using our in-house HRIS
- Schedule interviews and meetings
- Assist with coordinating internal events and initiatives
- Contribute to HR projects as required
- Provide operational support across a range of HR functions and processes
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the HR team
Skills and Experience:
We are looking for someone who is organised proactive and eager to develop their HR career.
Ideally you will have:
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a professional or administrative environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative and open to guidance
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- A desire to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- A genuine interest in learning and growing your HR career
