As a Security Officer - HS/GED Patrol Rounds in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas entrances corridors and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points by verifying identification directing visitors to approved destinations and reporting unauthorized entry attempts per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete timely security-related reports and logs document incidents and communicate key information to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 years of security experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
