N-iXis looking forSenior Full-Stack developer (JavaReact) to join our team.

About the Role
Our client is looking for a Java FullStack Developer to help accelerate product development for their flagship workforce management solution HotSchedules Labor. Youll work in a collaborative international team with developers and QA engineers from Ukraine Latin America and the US. This role offers a great opportunity to strengthen your English skills as many team meetings are held in English.

The team actively uses AI coding agents to speed up development and improve code quality. Candidates must be comfortable working with AI tools as part of their daily workflow.

Most engineers on the team are fullstack developers but current priorities lean more toward backend tasks. A solid background in backend development combined with practical frontend experience (React 18 Redux) is required.

Responsibilities

Develop new features based on the product backlog
Build REST services for high-volume low-latency web and mobile applications
Design and implement database schema changes (MS SQL Server) and maintain Flyway migrations
Maintain and refactor existing codebases including legacy modules
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and deliver new features
Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development and enhance code quality
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Java
At least6 months of daily experience using AI coding agents (e.g. Claude Code GitHub Copilot Cursor)
Strong proficiency in the Spring Framework (Spring MVC Spring Security Spring JDBC)
Experience with MS SQL Server and Flyway database migrations
Practical experience with React 18 including Redux and component libraries (Material UI or similar)
Experience with the Gradle build system
Experience with AWS (S3 SQS DynamoDB Lambda) and Azure (Service Bus Blob Storage) is a plus
Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a nice-to-have
Upperintermediate English or higher
