DescriptionESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to and abide by all plant safety rules and regulations.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform daily equipment check lists (IE crane checks equipment checks etc.).
- Meet welder II requirements which include quality and productivity requirements.
- Perform as a hand welder to fit-up vessels and weld out areas that are not robotically compatible or accessible.
- Independently operate Robotic Welding Equipment.
- Successfully utilize fixtures as required to setup jobs.
- Ability to make minor adjustments as needed to operate Robotic Welding Equipment.
- Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
- Adhere to and abide by all ITAR-specific job standards and training. Protect and properly safeguard ITAR-sensitive information and work product; ensure dissemination or disclosure of and access to protected data occurs only with those trained and approved for exposure to ITAR content.
- IMMEDIATELY notify Supervisor/Manager Human Resources Legal (email: ) or the Samuel Ethics Alert Hotline of known or suspected unauthorized disclosure release of or access to protected ITAR content.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:
- Ability to utilize a computer with basic software skills.
- Ability to utilize MRP/ERP system effectively.
- Successful completion of 90 days of hands on robotic welding training.
- Independent Utilization of the robotic welding software.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work will in a fast paced environment to meet team expectations.
- Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
- Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.
- Must have a basic understanding of computers.
- Must have reading writing and simple math skills.
- Must be able to read blue prints.
- Must have either a High School diploma GED or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial based environment.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS of WORK:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are 40 hours Monday through Friday; to be determined by each division. Standard hour requirement is four (4) ten (10) hour shifts. Overtime hours may be required beyond standard schedule.
- Travel is not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
