REQUIREMENTS:
MIN of 5 yrs ED nursing experience REQUIRED
Previous experience in a similar role STRONGLY preferred
Meets and maintains any requirements defined by specific specialty; Emergency Dept ACLS within 1 year of hire; PALS All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
EDUCATION:
BSN or higher NURSING degree REQUIRED
CERTIFICATIONS and or LICENSURE:
RN License valid to practice in the State of Virginia
Provides evidence-based education to ED nurses and ED the moment education Onboarding new hires participation in hospital activities that support community involvement. Work closely with Trauma educator.
