Job Summary

Role: Lead Performance Engineer/Architect
Location: Austin TX (onsite)

We are looking for a skilled Lead Performance Engineer to design develop and execute performance testing strategies for enterprise and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with JMeter Load runner K6 Gatling Data Dog Dynatrace skills and solid expertise in API Web and automation testing. Candidate will work closely with development QA DevOps and architecture teams to ensure applications are scalable reliable and performant.

Key Responsibilities
12 Yrs of experience in Performance Engineering
Design develop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter or similar tools for web API and backend systems
Conduct load stress endurance and scalability testing for applications and microservices
Design develop and maintain automated test suites for applications covering unit integration and E2E tests.
Perform API performance testing (REST/JSON SOAP) and integrate with automation frameworks
Analyze test results identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations
Monitor system performance metrics (CPU memory GC I/O network) during test execution
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to optimize application and infrastructure performance
Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines
Prepare detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders
Continuously improve testing frameworks tools and best practices
