This role is on Global POS team. This team is responsible for
managing and developing new features and enhancements on Oracle Xstore POS Software. This
Business System Analyst position is technical bridging the gap between business needs and technical
solutions and involved with projects from inception through implementation. We are seeking a highly
skilled and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be
responsible for analyzing business processes identifying technical solutions and bridging the gap
between business needs and technology solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders
development teams and IT departments to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of
retail systems.

Experience and Skillset:
Business and functional requirement gathering for small medium complex scope; compiling
needs from multiple stakeholders into a single set of prioritized requirements.
Identify business processes document their workflow in process maps which reflect the
relationship between the operating model and the technology platforms and identify roles
within these processes.
Work with stakeholders to understand their business needs and challenges assist in aligning
overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders.
Include dependency management and architectural decisions in requirements. Engages with engineering team to design technical solutions that meet business requirements.
Oversee the implementation of technical solutions ensuring they are delivered on time and
within budget.
Assists in testing and participates in test phases prior to UAT.
Updates technical specs based on testing prioritized defects or post-release lessons learned
Analyze data to identify trends insights and opportunities for improvement.
Create and maintain reports to support business decision-making and provide actionable
recommendations.
Supports communication for application/system deployment
Works to ensure application availability and SLAs for operational readiness
Utilize or develop artifacts such as business requirements documentation JIRA and Confluence
to facilitate requirements alignment sessions develop test scripts and document requirements
for SOX auditing.
Evaluate current business processes workflows and roadmaps to have a comprehensive
understanding of current state and ideal future state.
Lead cross functional collaboration and drives to alignment with business partners within
constraints of the project or work.
Qualifications:
Senior Business System Analyst with over 5 years of experience supporting IT projects within
an enterprise environment (1000 employees). Ability to work with multiple cross-functional
teams in an agile environment.
2 projects working as a BA on a POS solution end to end. Must have experience working with
gateways/processors. Payment experience is a must in order to understand the complexity of
the environment.
2 projects (end to end) working with data integrations (APIs files) - must demonstrate the
ability to analyze cross-functional flows and understand functional flows in SaaS applications.
Experience creating technical specifications and documentation for large complex projects
Strong understanding of retail systems including POS inventory management and e-commerce
platforms.
Experience with data analysis tools and technologies such as SQL Excel and BI tools.
Knowledge of various project lifecycle methodologies including Agile and Scrum.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation Container Management Application
Performance Engineering monitoring alerting AWS Services and Architecture
Ability to determine estimates of effort and impacts for a variety of solutions and influence
technical discussions and decisions
Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and prioritize numerous tasks and to
coordinate activities with a high sense of urgency
Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent presentation verbal written interpersonal and listening skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including collaboration facilitation and negotiation
