Job Summary
We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our clients Information Technology (IT) team to enhance their operations and propel their clients customers (they call them members) experience.
Their office is in Cranbury NJ but the job involves travel to their customers locations within a 30 mile radius of the office.
Summary
- Design implement and maintain infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. Design implement and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN).
- Provide advanced (L3) support for Windows and Linux server environments virtualization platforms and enterprise storage systems. Act as the final escalation point for complex systems and network issues (L3 support).
- Monitor systems and network performance and ensure availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with security cloud network and application team members to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
- Lead systems and network-related projects including migrations upgrades and new deployments.
- Maintain documentation for all configurations processes and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Manage Active Directory Group Policy DNS DHCP and certificate services.
- Automate system administration tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning testing and execution.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g. SOX PCI-DSS ISO 27001).
Specific Responsibilities with expected skillsets.
- 7 years of hands-on experience in systems and network engineering and administration.
- Expert-level knowledge of common devices and platforms in all aspects of an infrastructure operation such as a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux environments
- Strong experience with firewalls (Fortinet Cisco ASA/Firepower) Load Balancers Domain Controllers Switches Routers Security devices.
- Deep understanding of routing and switching protocols (BGP OSPF EIGRP STP HSRP VRRP).
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools including experience with network automation and scripting
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and compliance standards (PCI-DSS SOX ISO 27001).
- Strong experience with virtualization platforms: VMware vSphere/ESXi
- Proficiency in all things Microsoft Office 365 Azure Teams etc.
- Experience with enterprise storage (HP Dell / EMC).
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy DNS DHCP PKI and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with monitoring and management tools: Zoho platform such as ManageEngine tools Taegis and other security administration tools
- Understanding of ITIL practices and Tools Incident and Change Management using ServiceNow
- Experience in regulated environments with a focus on security compliance and audit readiness.
- Experience in financial services environments with low-latency high-availability requirements.

- A bachelors degree in engineering or computer science
