PAY RATE: $63/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Schedule: Full-time First Shift

• Hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

• Overtime: 1 2 hours per week (voluntary)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements

• Design software and interface specifications

• Coordinate with internal teams and customers on the development of software and interface specifications

• Test and validate system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fielded software throughout the product lifecycle

• Participate in aircraft installation design and certification efforts for Network Systems and Airplane Programs

• Engage with airline customers to understand their intended use of network systems

• Develop software scripts to support or automate testing procedures and analysis

• Maintain configuration matrices for customer configurations and system architectures

• Support engineering releases related to airplane definition and optional configurations

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering from an accredited program

• 1 3 years of software engineering experience

• Understanding of software development processes and ability to identify documentation issues

• Ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
