| POSITION DESCRIPTION The AWS Developer / Administrator will provide technical expertise for the design development deployment administration and support of Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. This role works closely with cloud engineering application development security and operations teams to deliver secure resilient and scalable cloud solutions. The candidate will support AWS infrastructure application services integrations and automation efforts while ensuring operational stability performance and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Major responsibilities of this position include the following: - Design deploy and administer AWS environments following best practices
- Support AWS account structure IAM roles policies and least-privilege access
- Develop and maintain solutions using AWS services including (but not limited to):
- Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling and Elastic Load Balancing
- Amazon VPC subnets routing and security controls
- Amazon S3 EBS EFS and data lifecycle policies
- AWS Lambda API Gateway and serverless architectures
- Amazon CloudWatch CloudTrail and AWS Config
- Develop and support Amazon Connect contact center environments including: Contact flows queues routing profiles and prompts
- Integrations with AWS Lambda APIs and external systems
- Call recording analytics and troubleshooting
- Design and integrate AI-enabled solutions using Amazon Bedrock where applicable
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation Terraform or equivalent tools
- Monitor system performance availability and cost optimization opportunities
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
- Collaborate with security teams to implement encryption logging monitoring and compliance controls
- Maintain documentation runbooks and architectural diagrams
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to team members
- Participate in scheduled maintenance upgrades and after-hours support as required

| REQUIRED SKILLS In order of importance: - 6 years of overall IT experience supporting enterprise systems
- 3 years of hands-on AWS experience in development and/or administration
- 3 years of experience with AWS core services (EC2 VPC IAM S3 and Lambda)
- 3 years of experience with Amazon Connect and/or contact center technologies
- 3 years of experience integrating APIs serverless functions and cloud-native services
- 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation
- 3 years of experience with security best practices logging and monitoring in AWS
- 3 years of scripting experience (Python Bash or equivalent)
