Job Summary

description:

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment producing cross-sectional images of patients bones organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT including general radiography and department performs computerized tomography procedures with frequent use of contrast media. The department is also responsible for the pre-procedure and post-procedure care.

Night Shift/FRI-SUN NIGHTS 2000-0830/Must have experience with the GE EVO CT Unit/Alt specialty: Diagnostic Imaging (Xray).Education and Work Experience:Associates degree in Radiologic Technology: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): RequiredRadiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CAAdvanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI Preferred in CABasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredFluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and ORVenipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and ORARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
