Job Summary
Warehouse Production Worker
General Purpose:
TheWarehouse/Production Worker will assist in the warehouse and flour productionprocessing areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carries out a variety of assigned physicallydemanding duties in any department of the Company under the direction of amore experienced employee and/or a supervisor.
Assists with the loading of Company and commoncarrier trucks trailers (including bulk flour and bulk feed) as well as railcars and/or containers in an accurate and efficient manner.
Assists in receiving stock into the warehouse fromflour packing lines outside carriers and Company trucks.
Maintainsrequired sanitary standards in assigned working areas. Reports sanitationissues to the Supervisor.
Corrects and cleans up any spills of product in theproduct transfer system being used (plug-ups broken lines etc.).
Assistswith maintaining machinery in operating condition in co-operation withMaintenance Department.
AdvisesSupervisor of any problems or concerns.
Fillsout and directs paperwork accurately.
Assistsin warehouse duties as required ensuring customer orders are completedaccurately and on time.
Operatescompany vehicles and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
Isaware of critical control points as they relate to product liability.
Responsiblefor compliance with Canada Labour Occupational Health and Safety requirementsand company safety standards.
Followall Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) while performing job duties and tasks.
Performsall other related duties and assignments including training as required.
Qualifications:
Grade12 or equivalent.
Self-motivatedteam player with a strong work ethic.
Knowledgeof inventory management software is an asset.
Experiencewith Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.
Abilityto work independently as well as with cross departmental team members.
Availablefor shift work as well as work on weekends holidays and call outs as required.
Forkliftexperience is an asset.
