Job Description
As a Security Officer - Driver Perimeter Rounds in Miami FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal on an unarmed driving patrol post supporting a government location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and assist staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations report concerns promptly and support a culture that is agile reliable innovative people first team driven and grounded in integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including providing assistance contacting appropriate resources and/or coordinating with onsite personnel as needed.
- Control access points by verifying identification and/or authorization monitoring visitor flow and directing individuals to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete routine documentation such as shift logs incident reports and patrol activity reports and communicate noteworthy conditions to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 or more years of security experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Baton certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
