Job Summary

Position Summary

The Elementary Interventionist provides targeted academic support to students requiring additional assistance in reading and/or math. This position focuses on delivering evidence-based interventions monitoring student progress and collaborating with staff and families to improve student achievement within an MTSS/RTI framework.

Primary Responsibilities

Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 targeted small-group and one-on-one interventions using evidence-based district-adopted programs
Use assessment data to identify student needs monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies in real time.
Implement research-based instructional practices aligned to core curriculum standards.
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and intervention team
Actively participate in MTSS/RTI meetings to support student growth.
Communicate student progress clearly and consistently with caregivers.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Education or related field
Valid state teaching certification
Elementary teaching experience preferred
Training in literacy and/or math intervention strategies preferred
Strong data analysis collaboration and communication skills
