Job Summary
Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth this Summer were looking to add a Planning Intern located in our Milpitas CA site.
Reporting to the Production Planning Manager the student will assist with Production and Material Planning based activities and reporting.
What a typical day looks like:
- Learning the basics of Material and Production Planning including ERP and planning workflows.
- Supporting process mapping and documentation for planner activities.
- Supporting preparation of daily/weekly production inventory and material reports.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to ongoing projects or improvement initiatives.
- Providing adhoc support during month-end activities and planner tasks as needed
- Contributing to gathering data for planning analysis trends and dashboards.
Student qualities were seeking for this internship assignment:
- Currently enrolled student pursuing Bachelor degree - preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain (undergrad students only)
- Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Highly collaborative creative and excellent communication skills
- Flowchart knowledge is a plus!
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Detailoriented organized and eager to learn new processes and tools.
- Previous internship / project experiences a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:
- Available to start on May 26th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 1012-week summer assignment
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 minimum GPA
