We openedthe first 5* Hotel in Liverpool; The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery in May2023 and have reset the clock within this historic building bringing it backto life. Our Heartists aspire to create memorable heartfelt moments forall life enjoyers to experience unique stories from the past but also toimmerse themselves into our hospitality creating their own astonishing talesof MGallery magical moments. We boast 179 stunning bedrooms set in aremarkable and inspiring landmark of the city. Time is of essence and at theheart of The Municipals story. The iconic clock tower and bells givingthe tempo to a timeless melody. Various restaurants bars and astate-of-the-art spa sanctuary experience will offer everyone the place tohave the time of their lives pause the clock and embark upon their own magicaljourney with MGallery.

What youllbe doing...
When youenter our hotel you will be wowed and we aspire for our guests to be bowledover too in their initial connection with our building and ourHeartists. Our Heartists are our team the heart of the hotel whostrive to make meaning in every moment from check in to departure. Wehave passion for interacting with people upon check in and beyond learningwhat makes them tick and providing surprise and delight Municipal memorablemoments.
WHAT WE NEEDFROM YOU
We hiremostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...
A positivecan-do attitude and the passion to stand out and be proud of our hotel andMGallery brand.
The skill toliaise with our guests providing care warmth and efficiency in your provisionof service. Ensuring that Maintenanceissues are reviewed and resolved at the earliest opportunity.
Excellent attentionto detail and flexibility. To workpositively and collaboratively with all departments and our Heartists keepingthe guest experience as our central focus.
A passionfor providing excellence in service and excelling as a team.
To assistwith fire walks and preventative maintenance solutions.
To beflexible to shift and rota requirements (7.00am-3.30pm or 9.30am 6pm) 5 daysover 7 (Sunday working is required).
To have atleast 2 years experience in Hotel Maintenance within a 4* or 5* hotel.
Other dutiesinclude;
Provide a professional robust maintenance and repair service at a 5* hotellevel.
Have excellent skills and knowledge of electrical mechanicalcarpentry painting and construction trades to undertake maintenance repairand installation work.
To maintain a high-quality safe environment for both guests & staffcontractors and visitors.
Assist with other hotel staff and contractors to ensure compliance withsafety standards and procedures.
To assist plan and organise operational maintenance for the hotel underguidance.
Provide maintenance assistance across the hotel as required for businessoperation and as per requests from Senior Management.
Takingresponsibility for the hotel guests Heartists Health and Safety FireProcedures and security.
To assistwith an in-depth preventative maintenance program. To review and perform statutorycompliance tests and reporting.
Competencies knowledge and skills required;
Excellent maintenance / tradeskills.
Excellent communicationskills both written & verbal.
Attention to detail andsafety precautions / requirements.
The ability to workindependently yet as part of the wider team.
Pool plant knowledge orqualifications are highly desirable.
