We are looking for a Production and Prepress Coordinator for the Transcontinental Interweb plant in Boucherville. This person will be responsible for supporting the Customer Service and Prepress Customer Services teams in bringing projects to production. They will combine covers and create files in the integrated system in addition to managing directories on the web portal and tracking customer file submissions.
Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success:
- Ensure that production files are fully prepared when orders are confirmed.
- Combine organize and validate files and covers to optimize production and support the Prepress team.
- Plan production steps in the integrated system and create the required work files.
- Optimize the use of raw materials by grouping files (combos).
- Reserve the necessary raw materials and ensure their availability.
- Enter PDF files and follow up with customers according to deadlines.
- Manage InSite portal directories and users (creation configuration updates).
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth accurate and timely production.
- Perform any other related tasks to support production efficiency.
Qualifications
When your expertise drives us:
- College diploma (D.E.C.) or equivalent
- Relevant experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in MS Office Globe-Tek and InSite software is an asset
- Knowledge of prepress systems and good knowledge of the graphic chain
- Fluency in French and English both spoken and written
- Attention to detail excellent learning ability analytical and problem-solving skills sense of priorities and good stress management
