Job Summary
Title:
Lead HVAC EngineerJob Responsibilities:
- Prepare manhour estimates for HVAC scope on offshore platform/FPSO projects and onshore projects.
- PrepareHVAC design philosophy and technical specifications for HVAC equipment.
- Prepare HVAC air flow diagrams/schematic drawings.
- Prepare HVAC Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) drawings.
- Carry out heat load and air conditioning and mechanical ventilationengineering calculations as per ASHRAE for control rooms electrical rooms substations etc. Awareness in SMACNA.
- Prepare HVAC ducting layout drawings.
- Prepare RFQ/TBE for HVAC Equipment.
- Update HVAC Master Equipment List.
- Prepare cause and effect diagrams for HVAC.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical orAir Conditioning and Mechanical VentilationEngineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in HVAC/Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation.
- Manage a team of HVAC Engineers/Designers.
- Knowledge In HVAC system design including Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and schematic diagrams.
- Review equipment GAs P&IDs ducting layouts and chilled water piping layouts.
- Preparation of duct supports ventilation system design and drawings and air conditioning system design and drawings.
- Ability to support and coordinate with a team of Engineers and Designers.
- Knowledge of HVAC design fundamentals.
- Knowledge of software tools AutoCad PDMS SP3D Navisworks Smart Plant Review.
