Job Description
As a Security Officer - Hospital Campus Rounds in Willoughby OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols stay highly visible and respond to incidents to help reduce security-related risks. You will monitor assigned areas support staff patients and visitors with clear communication and customer service and document activity as needed. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including entrances lobbies corridors parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow assist with directions and wayfinding and support order in public areas in a calm respectful manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations such as disturbances medical alerts missing persons and property concerns using a calm problem-solving approach and timely communication.
- Document and report incidents patrol observations and policy violations and coordinate with Allied Universal supervision and location staff as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- This hospital site requires vaccines.
- The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
