INTERVENTION SPECIALIST (Low Incidence/Intensive)

Position Summary

Provides targeted instruction and support to students with intensive learning communication behavioral and adaptive needs. Implements structured routines visual supports and individualized strategies to promote academic growth social-communication skills functional independence and adaptive development. Collaborates with teachers paraprofessionals related service providers and families to deliver comprehensive support addressing academic social and developmental needs.

Position Skill Set

Design and implement individualized instruction for academic communication adaptive and behavioral goals.
Deliver structured small-group and one-on-one instruction explicitly teaching functional academic and social-communication skills.
Collaborate with teachers paraprofessionals related service providers and families to implement structured routines visual supports and evidence-based strategies (ABA discrete-trial structured teaching).
Support adaptive and functional skill development helping students build independence and engage in school and daily living routines.
