If so we are seeking a responsible and safety-focused Fuel Distributor to manage the distribution and delivery of fuel to company equipment and vehicles. This role is essential in ensuring timely fueling operations maintaining accurate records and adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.
Fuel Distributor Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate fuel delivery trucks to transport and distribute diesel gasoline and other fuels to various job sites and company locations.
- Monitor fuel levels and coordinate fueling schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of fuel trucks ensuring all safety and maintenance protocols are met.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation related to fuel deliveries consumption and inventory.
- Follow all environmental and safety regulations including spill prevention and emergency response procedures.
- Communicate effectively with equipment operators supervisors and vendors to coordinate fueling activities.
- Conduct routine checks and minor maintenance of fueling equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Assist with inventory management and fuel stock reconciliation as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A (or higher) with tanker and hazmat endorsement
- Previous experience in fuel distribution delivery or similar role is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of fuel handling safety and environmental regulations.
- Ability to operate fuel delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
