As a Scheduling Coordinator heres a big-picture view of what youll do:

  • Create and maintain caregiver schedules to ensure consistent client coverage
  • Quickly fill open shifts due to call-offs schedule changes or new client cases
  • Coordinate caregiver assignments based on availability skills and client needs
  • Communicate scheduling updates clearly and professionally with caregivers and clients
  • Monitor attendance call-offs and caregiver reliability trends
  • Maintain accurate records within scheduling andEVV systems
  • Collaborate with recruiting and clinical teams to anticipate staffing needs
  • Provide on-call scheduling support as assigned
  • Ensure continuity of care by proactively addressing scheduling challenges

A few must-haves for the Scheduling Coordinator:

  • High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred
  • At least one (1) year of scheduling staffing coordination or home care experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and phone communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office
  • Professional calm demeanor under pressure
