Laundry Attendant
As a Laundry Attendant you will be responsible for cleaning sorting and managing linens and laundry items to ensure a steady supply for guest rooms and operations. You will operate laundry equipment maintain cleanliness in the laundry area and support the housekeeping team to uphold quality standards. This role reports to the Executive Housekeeper.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be the essential support for our hotels laundry operations ensuring guests have fresh and clean linens during their stay.
- Your daily tasks will include sorting washing drying folding and storing linens and towels.
- You will report to the Laundry Supervisor or Laundry Manager.
- A career as a laundry attendant can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry such as laundry supervisor laundry manager or even a management position in hotel operations.
- Linen Processing
- Collect sort weigh and transport dirty linens.
- Load and unload washers dryers and/or drycleaning machines.
- Add proper chemicals and monitor machine cycles.
- Inspect items for stains or damage; decide whether to rewash spottreat repair or discard.
- Quality Control
- Check cleanliness and presentation of all finished linens.
- Fold stack and organize linens into carts for housekeeping distribution.
- Ensure consistent supply of clean linens for guest rooms and hotel operations.
- Cleanliness & Organization
- Keep the laundry room clean safe and orderly.
- Clean lint traps maintain equipment and follow safety procedures.
- Organize chemicals and supplies properly.
- Guest Service & Professionalism
- Provide friendly efficient service when interacting with guests or team members.
- Follow Hilton brand standards and property procedures.
- Maintain honesty and trustworthinessemployees have access to guest areas and must pass security clearances.
Education & Experience
Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:
- A combination of education and experience

- Eligible to work in the United States
- Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
- Ability to sit stand bend kneel and lift as requiredwith or without reasonable accommodations
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays if needed
