Job Summary
Overview
Looking for: A missiondrivenMid-Level Network Engineer with an active DoD Secret Clearance and Security certification to join our team at AMERICAN SYSTEMS! You will be providing critical realtime monitoring analysis and support to National Priority network environments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support enterprise networks from a 24/7 NOC/SOC environment located at McConnell AFB Wichita KS. ensuring continuous availability and rapid incident response
- Perform remote troubleshooting incident escalation and resolution of complex network performance and security issues
- Analyze alarms syslogs event notifications and traffic patterns across Juniper routers switches and firewalls
- Support network cutovers configuration updates and maintenance activities during scheduled windows
- Document incident findings root cause analysis and corrective actions; maintain accurate network diagrams and operational documentation
Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- Experience supporting network cutover installation monitoring or operational support in a NOC or SOC environment
- Bachelors Degree and 6 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 12 years of relevant experience
- Security certification required
- Strong understanding of VLANs ACLs IP addressing/DHCP routing and enterprise network fundamentals
- Networking certifications to include at least one of the following: Cisco CCNA Avaya ASTA Juniper JNCIA (current).
- Willingness to travel when required (CONUS).
- Willingness to support a 24/7 shift rotation environment.
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $94400.00/Yr. - USD $157600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
