Our internship program is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as well as individuals seeking to deepen their education through immersive professional experience in the entertainment industry.

Game Show Network is seeking a dynamic detail-oriented intern to support the Development Programming department. This role offers exposure to multiple facets of development including creative development talent relations and programming/production. The intern will assist with research project tracking and presentation materials; sit in on internal development meetings; and help coordinate pitches casting materials and production deliverables. This position provides a hands-on opportunity to learn how unscripted ideas move from concept to greenlight while collaborating with cross-functional teams across programming production marketing and digital. The ideal candidate is highly organized proactive and eager to gain insight into the creative and strategic processes that drive successful game show content.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creative research and idea generation for new development projects including format research and competitive analysis.
  • Support the preparation of pitch materials decks casting grids and internal presentations.
  • Track project status maintain development grids and organize departmental documents and assets.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams (production marketing legal and scheduling) to support ongoing development initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support for the Development Programming team including scheduling meetings taking notes and distributing follow-up materials.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in PowerPoint Canva or similar presentation software
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in unscripted programming particularly game show formats
  • Current enrollment in a program related to television production broadcast journalism media studies or a related field
  • Prior internship or experience in television development production or a related entertainment role

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19.00/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and if applicable the location of the position.
