Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Health Centerin Boca Raton FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance support staff patients and visitors with calm professional communication and document observations. Guided by a caring culture that puts people first you will act with integrity teamwork and an agile reliable innovative mindset.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and promptly notifying clinical leadership and/or local emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity identify hazards and report conditions requiring attention.
- Monitor access points and public areas assist with visitor directions and/or wayfinding and help maintain orderly movement through lobbies corridors and designated restricted areas in accordance with facility policy.
- Document observations and incidents in daily activity logs and reports communicate relevant updates to site leadership and support other security-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Guard Card.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
