Job Summary
Millennium Physician Group part of Mosaic Health is hiring an experienced Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to support our busy highvolume primary care clinic. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment and is committed to delivering excellent patient care.
How will you make an impact & Requirements
Responsibilities
Complete patient intakes vitals medical histories and medication reviews
Assist providers with exams minor procedures wound care and diagnostic testing
Perform EKGs immunizations specimen collection and pointofcare testing
Prepare and process lab samples accurately
Support triage care coordination and patient education
Document all care in the EHR (Athena preferred)
Schedule appointments referrals and authorizations
Verify insurance and assist with prior authorizations and basic billing tasks
Maintain exam rooms supplies and infectioncontrol standards
Participate in quality and safety initiatives
Provide compassionate professional customer service to all patients
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
3 years of Medical Assistant experience required
Graduate of an accredited MA program
Active CMA RMA or CCMA certification
Current BLS certification
Strong clinical skills (vitals EKGs specimen collection assisting with procedures)
Proficient with EHR systems
Excellent communication multitasking and teamwork abilities
