DescriptionRole Purpose
As a Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for managing the receiving storage delivery routes and shipping of all materials (direct indirect and finished goods).
Key Responsibilities
- Transport: Schedule and supervise the transportation of goods to ensure on-time delivery.
- Incoming Goods: Oversee warehouse tasks to ensure proper storage and accurate recording of supplies.
- Outgoing Goods: Handle packaging tasks and propose improvements to packaging processes.
- Information & Advice: Resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding logistics policies and procedures.
- Documentation: Prepare and manage moderately complex documents and reports.
- Data Management: Access and analyze data to support decision-making.
- Inventory Control: Manage and support inventory tasks ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Health & Safety: Follow mandatory procedures to safeguard the environment and workplace safety.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree Supply Chain Logistics or related field.
- Solid experience in logistics inventory management and workflow optimization.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with guidance when needed.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
- Commitment to safety and compliance standards.
