The Design Drafter is responsible for planning and designing a variety of products using CAD equipment. This role works closely with the engineers in the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design of a variety of products including the layout assembly and detailed drawings of complete products
- Evaluates finished work for accuracy complete projection of views and cost-effective tolerances
- Prepares a variety of detailed drawings per standard drafting practice
- Responsible for reviewing engineer change notices
- Maintains CAD materials and supplies for CAD operations
- Promotes a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules procedures instructions devices equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe conditions or practice to your supervisor
- Performs other related duties as directed

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word AutoCAD and Creo
- 2 years of College in Engineering and/or Mechanical Design/Drafting
- 0-2 years of CAD Design or related experience
