This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and client-focused team where you will support commercial clients manage a book of business and deliver exceptional service across a range of commercial insurance solutions.
As a Commercial Account Associate you will play a key role in maintaining and growing a portfolio of commercial clients. Working closely with internal teams and insurer partners you will ensure policies are managed accurately renewals are processed efficiently and clients receive responsive professional support throughout the life of their coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and service a commercial book of business ensuring strong client retention and satisfaction
- Review and process policy renewals ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up on any issues
- Prepare professional renewal proposals and coverage recommendations for clients
- Maintain organized and detailed client files including notes surveys and follow-up reminders
- Respond promptly to client inquiries through phone email or in-person communication
- Process applications policy changes and documentation accurately and efficiently
- Promote and recommend appropriate coverage options and additional products that best protect the client
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow established collection procedures where necessary
- Assist clients with claims reporting and follow up to ensure satisfactory resolution
- Develop and maintain referral and prospect lists to support new business opportunities
- Communicate and collaborate with internal team members and insurer partners to deliver exceptional service
- Participate in team meetings strategic planning sessions and ongoing training initiatives
Qualifications
- Level 2 Insurance License required; preference given to candidates pursuing or holding CAIB designation
- Experience servicing commercial insurance accounts including renewals and client support
- Strong relationship-building and client service skills
- Excellent written verbal and electronic communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to client service and professional development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
