Tire and Lube Technician

We are currently seeking aTire and Lube Technicianto join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose/Summary of Position:

The Tire and Lube Technician is responsible to service vehicles including providing preventative and routine maintenance.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform oil and filter changes
• Checking that tires are inflated correctly
• Replenishing vehicle fluids lubricates joints/fittings as needed
• Checking cabin and air filters
• Responsible for inspecting tires on client vehicles making tire repairs installing new tires when necessary balancing and rotating tires.
• Maintaining tidiness of the shop

Other responsibilities include:

• Attention to detail with excellent customer service communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including walking crouching bending and standing for extended periods.
• WHIMIS standards to ensure chemicals/equipment is being handled in a safe manor & ensure you are compliant in using them.
• Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.

Candidates must possess:

• Valid drivers license - minimum G2
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is a must
