Sr Advanced Mfg Engineer

As an Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Honeywell you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations. Your primary focus will be on increasing the level of automation in the manufacturing process through the implementation of automation projects. This will involve enhancing process parameters and manufacturing technologies for our products to ensure that customer requirements are met effectively.

You will report directly to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager and work onsite following a standard work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Management of automation projectsdeveloped by external suppliers including conceptual work equipment specifications project management factory acceptance testing installation commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Responsible for identifying and leading automation projectsaimed at increasing production capacity and improving product quality.
• Identify potential process improvement projects including the design and development of PLC programs to effectively address these opportunities.
• Develop review maintain and update documentation files procedures databases drawings and schematicsto ensure the integrity of equipment and process control technologies.
• Complete assigned tasksin accordance with the agreed schedule and budget while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Guide and train personnel in the areaon process control methodologies to facilitate improvement and control of processes.
• Prepare and modify procedures and training instructionsas necessary for automation processes including training for installation and maintenance personnel.

Requirements:

• Hold a technical degree in electronics telecommunications automation or computer science.
• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record in the development and implementation of automation processes and equipment
• Practical experience with PLCs HMIs robots motion control and associated programming software.
• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is an advantage.
• Proficient in English and data analytics tools such as (Word Excel and PowerPoint).
• Availability for flexible work schedule including on-site and on-call.
• Exhibit strong teamwork and communication skills.
