The Indirect Data Entry Specialist II is responsible for a variety of clerical duties within the indirect department--primarily insuring that new indirect auto loans are created on the loan system correctly and promptly. Additional duties include the recording of new contracts verification of membership and assignment of contracts to the appropriate individuals. The Data Entry Specialist II is also an initial defense against applications being duplicated which could cause two loans for the same vehicle being created processed and funded thus causing confusion for members and duplicate payment to the dealerships.
Essential Functions
- Log new contracts verify membership and assign contracts to processors. Input applications from dealers into Ents loan systems. Convert direct applications into indirect applications. Check the Scanning E-funding Folder for scanned loan packets and dealer checks.
- Perform document review to ensure completeness and compliance. Check loan contracts for accuracy inclusiveness and book loans into the loan system.
- Perform multitasking to manage competing priorities and ensure timely processing of contracts and applications - integrated across tasks.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel Word Outlook and Adobe) to manage and maintain existing reports daily ensuring accuracy and accessibility - integrated across tasks.
- Resolve basic contract issues with dealers answer member questions and resolve member/indirect issues as needed.
- Audits daily work from data entry personnel controls document retention and trains data entry temps.
- Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings policies and procedures and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Qualifications :
Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent
- 2 years experience with data input and general office experience Required
- 1 years data entry for a financial industry / lending organization preferred
- 1 year lending or loan experience or equivalent preferred
Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division).
- Strong communication skills to address uncovered issues with dealerships / team members effectively.
- Able to coach and train new team members on processes and best practices.
- Able to follow instructions for review mitigation and escalation of identified fraud flags.
- Basic Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook).
- Strong time management skills.
- Able to use 10 Key for data entry.
- Basic understanding of scanning equipment and how to attach files to various systems.
- Basic familiarity with indirect lending concepts principles and regulations.
- Basic working functionality in Symitar system.
- Basic working functionality in our loan booking system or similar loan booking systems at other financial institutions.

The pay range for this position is: $20.57 to $23.48 per Hour (S11).
Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience specific skills and competencies education certifications location and internal pay equity.
This position is eligible for a monthly incentive plan.
